Automotive Technician
Perception Motor Werks has an opening for an experienced Automotive Technician /
Auto Mechanic with multi-faceted experience. Applicants must have professional technical experience with Audi, VW, or BMW. Familiarity with performance and aftermarket parts for these vehicles a plus.
Essential experience / qualifications / skills:
- Dependable
- Self Motivated and Driven to succeed
- Exceptional Communication skills
- Factory Audi, VW, BMW training or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years dealership experience with a major German brand.
- Must have computer diagnostic experience.
- Must be versed in complete bumper-to-bumper diagnostic and repair. We are
- Interested in helping hands, not holding hands.
- Exceptional technical knowledge
- Willingness to learn & comprehend
- Able to observe procedures and guidelines, and implement accordingly
- A history of job stability
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail
- Willing to travel/work occasional weekends off-site
- Must have reliable transportation, German cars a plus

Desirable (but not essential) experience / qualifications / skills:
- Time Management
- Fabrication / Welding / Machine shop skills a plus
- ASE Certifications
- Organizational skills – Ability to prioritize work efficiently
- Dealership experience: We prefer a diagnostic/ warranty tech, not a COD gravy sopper.
- Experience with Scan Tool diagnosis and operation
- Current VA inspection license
